Simply put, POA stands for “Price on Application”.
With some of our pieces, we prefer not to openly publish our asking price. We absolutely welcome visitors to the website to contact us to enquire about the cost of such pieces.

It doesn’t necessarily mean that it is a super expensive piece but it may just be that there is something unique or special that we would like to be able to tell you about in more detail.

A Monumental Japanese bronze teapot, with a kirin form spout and multipatenated decoration of chrysanthemums, sparrows and butterflies on a bamboo terrace.
Roughly ten times the size of a regular teapot, this impressive specimen is lighter than expected as the bronze is worked quite thin. This could be because it may have been used as a shop or exhibition sign. It it seated on a carved wood base.
On it’s stand, the tea pot is 81cm in height. The height of the teapot (with handle raised) is 66cm.
