Asian Art in (North) London

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that we will be participating in this years’ Asian Art in London.

Founded in 1998, the event celebrates London as an international centre of excellence in the promotion of Asian Art. Focussed around an annual Autumn event, Asian Art in London brings together leading international Asian Art dealers, auction houses, Museums and societies in a series of gallery exhibitions, auctions, receptions, seminars and lectures.

During the event, which runs from 21st October to 6th November, we will be welcoming visitors to our Islington show-rooms, where we will be hosting our “Masters of the Meiji-era” and “Porcelain at the Passage” exhibitions.

“Masters of the Meiji-era” will be a specially curated selection of exquisite Meiji-era (1868-1912) works of art from our collection of Japanese Fine Art and Antiques, including pieces by celebrated artists and studios including Kinkozan Sobei, Oshima Joun, Ryozan, Suzuki Chokichi, Nogawa, Komai, Miyao Eisuke and more.

“Porcelain at the Passage” is a hand-picked selection of 18th and 19th Century Chinese export Porcelain. A variety of different styles will be on display including fine examples of Famille Rose, Famille Verte, Canton, Wucai and of course traditional Blue and White. On view at our Islington galleries between 28th October and 6th November.
