A beautifully painted pair of famille rose ginger jars from our collection of antique Chinese porcelain.
Dating from the 19th century, this pair are decorated and with large round panels depicting azalea surrounded by a white ground with cherry blossom, peonies and daisies. Pink swirled and geometric designs form an elaborate ground for further peony and blossom decoration to the shoulders.

Daisies represent purity, new beginnings and innocence in China and are often gifted the children.
