This entertaining late 19th Century vase stands tall at 61cms and is 30cms in diameter at it’s broadest point.
An unusual form and subject, the vase depicts a group of eight playful Japanese lion dogs (Komainu). The black ground decorated with flowers and blossom.
Condition: Some wear (as to be expected with the age and size of this piece) and a lamp hole to the base.
This is a highly collectable piece.
