A Meiji-era Japanese Satsuma square form tapered vase. Painted panels depict Samurai, women and children and the Sun Goddess Amaterasu with her brothers and attendants. The panels are framed with a dark blue ground with a geometric floral design.
Signed Kinkozan with the original paper label/sticker also present.
