It doesn’t necessarily mean that it is a super expensive piece but it may just be that there is something unique or special that we would like to be able to tell you about in more detail.

This eye-catching Japanese Satsuma Koro dates from the reign of Emperor Meiji, (1868 – 1912). A large moulded lion dog sits on the cover and the main body of the Koro is decorated with fine painting of families and monks picknicking on a river-bank.
The decorative panels are framed by a dark blue ground with floral design.
