Not much room at the Inn: A fond “farewell “to our Camden Passage Warehouse

For the last decade, 50 Camden Passage has been home to a wonderful collection of antique Chinese and Japanese ceramics and furniture, but earlier this month we locked the doors of our warehouse for the last time.

We made the decision at the beginning of 2025 not to renew our lease when it expired at the end of the year and we have spent the last 9 months carefully packing and transporting the hundreds of vases, sculptures, netsuke, embroideries, screens, cabinets, Shodana, tables, desks stands and more, along the cobbled stones of Camden Passage and into our main shop and gallery at 7 Pierrepont Row.

The last pieces were moved at the beginning of December and we are happy (and very relieved) to report that each item was moved safely and without incident.

As a result, 7 Pierrepont Row is looking rather full now and we will be sharing some photographs and videos of the new look shop and gallery rooms (including the new “Blue and White and Imari Rooms” early in the new year.

In the meantime, if you would like to arrange a visit, please feel free to Contact Us. We are open Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm by appointment.
